2004 ACPS Region X, Champion Foal - Northern California.

Scotty is the first born foal from the Scottish imported stallion *Sydserff Avalon, out of our lovely mare Cedar's Charm. *Sydserff Avalon - aka "Sonny" has won breed society titles of Supreme Champion and Champion Stallion for his outstanding Connemara type, conformation and outstanding movement. Sonny has also earned Championship awards in hunter and dressage. In 2005 Sonny won the USDF All Breeds Award for Training Level Open and he is standing very well for First Level this year. Sonny's rider/partner is a 13 year old girl. Sonny is an approved stallion with the American Connemara Pony Society.

Scotty's dam, Cedar's Charm, has earned breed society awards for her outstanding Connemara type, conformation and wonderful movement - Res. Champion Mare, and Res. Champion Broodmare (2 years in a row) - Northern California. Cedar's Charm is an approved mare with the American Connemara Pony Society.

Scotty is a wonderful pony, very well suited for children with his loving, kind temperament. His movement qualifies him as both a dressage and hunter prospect.

This is a TREMENDOUS honor - one that does not come by chance, but rather by the expert eye of the society's long-time secretary and Connemara breeder Marynell Eyles. Thank you Marynell for choosing Scotty and his sire Sonny to represent this issue.

Scotty and his sire, *Sydserff Avalon did very well at the ACPS, (2004) region 10 show. Scotty won Champion Foal at the age of 3 months, and his sire not only won his stallion class, but he went on to receive both the Champion Stallion and the over-all Breed Supreme title!

Due to our out-of state move, we did not show Scotty at the 2005 ACPS, region X show.
