Dr. Jesse Deux, DVM and his wife Melanie along with their three daughters, are the humans behind the name of LD Acres McNabs. Melanie has over 20 years experience in canine training and behavior studies - as well as over 10 years of extensive (& on-going) McNab Shepherd research. Her husband Dr. Jess is an accomplished veterinarian specializing in equines. Melanie was first introduced to the McNab Shepherd while searching for an *old bloodline* Border Collie. The McNab impressed her by not only their brilliance & stamina but also by their ability to *settle*. The first McNab Shepherd at LD Acres was a bitch by the name of LD Acres Move N Molly.
