Lilly is a First Premium foal, awarded & branded at her foal inspection, in Germany. She is the daughter of the awarded, PREMIUM & ELITE MARE Kirkeledgaards Margaux. Margaux is by the legendary stallion HAZY DAWN. Margaux's dam was bred at the famous Frederiksminde stud, "Frederiksminde Madonna" and Madonna is a union of the honorary bloodlines of Oxenholm Markbook and Oxenholm Mandy.
Lilly's sire is the licensed stallion, Pattys Veuve Clicquot, who had successfully passed his Stallion Performance Test in 2004, and is by the Premium awarded stallion, Pattys Silverdun Velvet. Clicquot's dam is the awarded, States Premium & Elite mare Pilgaards Vogue.

Lilly is one of our precious jewels at Legacy. At the current age of three years, she is gifted with terrific, beautiful bone, wonderful Connemara substance & type along with excellent conformation. Her temperament is true Connemara - nothing phases her. Lilly's movement is lovely, rock solid and true. She loves attention & affection and is especially fond of resting her head, perched upon my shoulder. I simply treasure this filly.
How Lilly came to join our family:
After years of studying pedigrees of the ponies at Pattys Connemara Ponies in Germany, and viewing numerous amounts of detailed video footage of youngstock and mature ridden ponies, we knew without a doubt that we desired to have a filly from this breeding. We then patiently waited for a very special filly. Year after year we waited, until in 2004 I ran across Lilly's photo on Patty's web-site. Lilly was not for sale, but rather she was being retained for Patty's stud. I inquired anyway. After a lot of persistence on my part, and time for Pattys to consider our offer, she finally agreed to selling us this pretty little dun filly who's mere photo had stolen my heart. Lilly was thoroughly inspected and examined by a skilled veterinarian, passing his strict examination, covering all areas of health, correctness & soundness with flying colors. We never suspected anything differently, however this was/is routine for us. Lilly then made her long travel across the big pond to New York at the young age of 6 months. She arrived at our farm the picture of beauty - literally. Our love affair began through a mere photo, which turned into a real life love affair of which we treasure each & every day.
